On the afternoon of July 3, at the 19/8 Nha Trang Stadium, the Young Pioneer and Children Newspapers in collaboration with the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), the Department of Culture and Sports of Khanh Hoa province organized the Opening Ceremony of the Final Round of the National Youth Football Tournament (U13) - Yamaha Cup 2023.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Dinh Van Thieu - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Phan Khue - Member of the Central Council of Young Pioneers, Editor-in-Chief of the Young Pioneers and Children Newspaper, Head of the Organizing Committee; representatives of VFF leaders, departments and branches of Khanh Hoa province, the main sponsor of the tournament, football teams and hundreds of Nha Trang spectators.
The National U13 Tournament opened in Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa.
After the opening ceremony, in group A, the home team U13 Khanh Hoa had the opening match against U13 Dong Thap . At the end of the match, U13 Khanh Hoa lost 0-1 to their opponent U13 Dong Thap.
In the morning of the same day, group B had 2 notable matches. U13 SHB Da Nang won 5-0 against U13 Tay Ninh, U13 Song Lam Nghe An won 6-0 against U13 Dak Lak.
In group A, U13 Viettel won 2-0 against U13 PVF.
On July 4, the tournament continues with matches of groups C and D at the Nha Trang Sports Training and Competition Center. U13 Hoang Anh Gia Lai meets U13 Luxury Ha Long, U13 Binh Duong meets U13 Hanoi. U13 Hong Linh Ha Tinh meets U13 Hanoi Football Club and U13 Navy Phu Nhuan meets U13 Haduwaco Hai Duong.
The final round of the national U13 tournament started from July 3 to 14 in Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa. 16 excellent teams passed the qualifying round of the tournament in 3 regions: Thai Binh, Quang Nam and Tay Ninh. The teams were divided into 4 groups to compete in a round robin format, selecting 2 best teams from each group to enter the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and compete for the championship.
