This result shows that the recovery and expansion of domestic production and consumption are taking place strongly.

By economic sector, the foreign-invested sector (FDI) exported 30.85 billion USD (down 0.4% compared to the previous month but up sharply 24.4% over the same period), accounting for nearly 78.2% of total export turnover.

This trend continued throughout the first 6 months of the year, when the FDI sector reached 161.55 billion USD in export turnover, up 16.4%, while the domestic sector reached 58.28 billion USD, up 9.4%.

Regarding the structure of export goods, the processed industrial goods group continues to dominate, with a total turnover reaching 194.28 billion USD, equal to 88.4% of the total export value.

Other commodity groups such as agricultural and forestry products (19.12 billion USD, accounting for 8.7%), aquatic products (5.11 billion USD, accounting for 2.3%) and fuel - minerals (1.32 billion USD, accounting for 0.6%) only account for a small proportion.

In the first half of the year, 28 export items reached a value of over 1 billion USD, accounting for 91.7% of total turnover; 9 items reached over 5 billion USD, contributing 72.3%.

Although the overall trade surplus was still maintained, the trade surplus of 7.63 billion USD in the first 6 months of the year was significantly lower than the 12.15 billion USD in the same period last year.
