An Giang Provincial Party Committee announced information about the 1st Congress of An Giang Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030. Accordingly, the newly appointed Executive Committee of An Giang Provincial Party Committee consists of 66 people, including 2 people participating for the first time.

On the afternoon of September 22, An Giang Provincial Party Committee informed the press about the organization of the 1st An Giang Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

Mr. Tong Phuoc Truong, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of An Giang Provincial Party Committee, informed that the 1st Congress of An Giang Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 will take place in 2 days, October 2 and 3, at the Cultural and Arts Center of An Giang Province. There are 448 official delegates representing 131,487 party members in An Giang Provincial Party Committee and more than 160 invited delegates are expected to attend. This is a congress of special importance in the context of the province having just undergone a merger, opening a new period of comprehensive and sustainable development. At the same time, this is also an opportunity to consolidate the great solidarity of the entire Party Committee, the entire people, and the entire army; promote the cultural, historical and revolutionary traditions of An Giang province; arouse the aspiration to build An Giang province to develop rapidly and sustainably, entering a new era with the country.

Regarding the congress personnel, 66 people were appointed to the 1st An Giang Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term, including 64 re-elected members and 2 members of the Executive Committee for the first time. Along with 2 ex-officio delegates, 35 people were also appointed as official delegates to the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Up to now, the preparations for the Congress have been basically completed, ensuring thoughtfulness, solemnity, economy, safety and efficiency. The An Giang Provincial Party Committee has launched emulation movements, started construction and inaugurated 10 works and projects to welcome the Congress with a total capital of more than 53,645 billion VND. Among the newly started projects, there are 5 projects in Phu Quoc special zone including: Phu Quoc International Airport expansion project with a total investment of 22,000 billion VND; APEC Conference Center with an investment of 21,860 billion VND; DT 975 project with an investment of 2,500 billion VND; Cua Can Lake with 1,026 billion VND.
