Algeria: National news agencies actively contribute to foreign affairs

The Deputy General Director of the Algerian News Agency emphasized the role of the Vietnamese national media agency in promoting cooperation, foreign affairs and digital transformation between the two countries.

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day and the 80th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam News Agency, the Algiers Resident Office interviewed Mr. Bounnah Liazid, Deputy Director General of the Algerian News Agency (APS).

Mr. Bounnah Liazid expressed APS’s goodwill in promoting diverse cooperation and more effectively implementing agreements between the two agencies, including the exchange of experiences, experts, as well as delegations of leaders from both sides related to management, training, and publishing. APS and VNA have maintained good relations for many years.

This reflects the friendly, traditional, and historically close relationship between Vietnam and Algeria. In the common journey between the two agencies, it is impossible not to mention the sacrifices of Vietnamese and Algerian journalists in the 1974 plane tragedy. To commemorate them, we erected a monument on the street nearby. These are important, memorable events and milestones that have contributed to tightening the relationship between the two agencies./.
