An Giang urgently implements projects to serve the APEC 2027 Conference

The People's Committee of An Giang province seriously and urgently focuses on implementing the directions of the Central Government, the Government, and Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung, focusing on preparing well for investment, project implementation, upgrading facilities and infrastructure to prepare good conditions to serve the APEC 2027 Conference.

Construction of Phu Quoc International Airport expansion project.

As of September 19, the province approved 8 public investment projects; of which 7 construction contractors have been selected. Of these, 5 projects have met and exceeded the set schedule, including the Phu Quoc Airport expansion investment project, Bai Dat Do urban area project, Nui Ong Quan urban area project, An Thoi underground infrastructure construction project; Duong Dong underground infrastructure construction project.

The province will continue to urgently direct and accelerate the progress of project approval, selection of investors, and selection of contractors for the remaining projects to be completed in September 2025 (for the Duong Dong 2 water plant project and Duong Dong 2 reservoir, urgently complete the local adjustment of the Phu Quoc master plan).
