Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen is the President of the Vietnam Women's Union.

Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung presented the Politburo 's decision to transfer and appoint Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Delegation of the Vietnam Women's Union.

On the afternoon of November 6, the Vietnam Women's Union held a conference to announce the Politburo 's decision on personnel work.

Accordingly, in Official Dispatch No. 11866 dated October 25 of the Party Central Office, the Politburo's opinion was to agree that Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen, member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, cease to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee and cease to hold the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term; to appoint her to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Delegation of the Vietnam Women's Union for the 2022-2027 term and to introduce her to be elected as President of the Vietnam Women's Union.

Decision No. 1638 dated October 30 of the Politburo assigned and appointed Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Delegation of the Vietnam Women's Union for the 2022-2027 term.

Also this afternoon, the Vietnam Women's Union held the 11th Conference of the 13th Central Executive Committee to complete the personnel of the Executive Committee, Presidium and President of the Vietnam Women's Union for the 2022-2027 term.

As a result, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Delegation of the Vietnam Women's Union was elected to the Executive Committee, the Presidium and held the position of President of the Vietnam Women's Union for the 2022-2027 term.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen was born in 1971, in Dong Lac commune, Chuong My district, Hanoi. She has a PhD in Party Building, a Bachelor of Laws; and a senior degree in political theory.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen is a member of the Party Central Committee, 11th (alternate), 13th term; National Assembly Delegate, 12th term.

During her time working in Hanoi, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen held the following positions: Secretary of the Chuong My District Youth Union, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Chuong My District Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Chuong My District, Permanent Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of the Hanoi City Party Committee, Secretary of the Chuong My District Party Committee, Chairman of the City Labor Federation, Head of the City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department.

On October 12, 2020, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen was elected to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, then assigned to be the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee.

Previously, Ms. Ha Thi Nga, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Delegation, President of the Vietnam Women's Union, was assigned by the Politburo to hold the position of Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
