The Army Youth Union won first prize in the "Pride of Vietnam" contest.

On the afternoon of August 28, in Hanoi, the Central Youth Union chaired and coordinated with the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission to organize the national final round of the online contest "Pride of Vietnam". Attending the program was comrade Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

The contest was launched in March 2025, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, the reunification of the country and the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. Nearly 5 million contestants participated in the weekly rounds online on two platforms: the website http://baocaovien.vn of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission and the Vietnam Youth Application.

Competing in the national finals are 5 teams, including: Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union; Vietnam Fatherland Front Youth Union, Central organizations; Military Youth Committee; Government Youth Union and Vinh Long Provincial Youth Union.

The national final round took place in the form of direct competition on stage with 5 competitions: National Spirit, Decoding History, Vietnamese Pride, Confidently Moving Forward, and Era of Rising.

At the end of the national final round, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to the Army Youth Union team, the second prize to the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union team, and one third prize and two consolation prizes to the youth union organizations. The provincial level union with the highest rate of union members and youth participation belonged to Vinh Long Provincial Youth Union.

The individual prize was awarded to contestant Nguyen Quang Tuyen, Secretary of the People's Security Youth Union, Dong Thap Provincial Police.
