On the afternoon of December 14, the Standing Committee of Can Loc District Party Committee held a conference to review collectives and individuals in 2023.

Attending the conference were Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran The Dung; Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission Ha Van Trong; and representatives of relevant departments and branches.

Overview of the conference.

At the conference, the Standing Committee of Can Loc District Party Committee reported on the review of leadership, direction, and implementation of tasks; achievements, causes of limitations and shortcomings; directions, remedies, and tasks that need to be focused on in the coming time.

In 2023, the Can Loc District Party Committee has promoted the spirit of solidarity, thoroughly grasped and strictly implemented the principle of democratic centralism, regulations and operating rules. The work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system; responsibility to set an example; the work of fighting against corruption, negativity, waste and preventing and repelling signs of degradation in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, "self-evolution", "self-transformation" within the Party, associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics and style... were seriously carried out.

The Can Loc District Party Committee has also closely followed the guidelines and policies of the superiors to focus on leading and directing socio-economic development. Accordingly, many targets have been achieved and exceeded the plan. Agriculture has had a good harvest; the resolution on land consolidation continues to be implemented and promoted effectively; the budget revenue in the area is estimated at 240 billion VND (reaching 175% of the plan assigned by the province and equal to 160% of the plan assigned by the District People's Council). Site clearance work for the North-South Expressway project has been basically completed.

The cultural and social fields continue to have many outstanding achievements; security and defense work is ensured.

Regarding Party building work, the District Party Committee strictly adheres to the Party's organizational and operational principles, especially the principle of democratic centralism, working regulations, building a high level of solidarity and unity among Party committees, cadres and Party members, creating consensus among all classes of people, making an important contribution to the successful implementation of the political tasks set forth in the Party Congress Resolution.

The District Party Committee also reviewed and clarified the causes and responsibilities of relevant collectives and individuals, and discussed plans and determined solutions to overcome limitations, shortcomings, and defects.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also pointed out a number of shortcomings and limitations in Party building work and implementation of political tasks, and at the same time requested the Standing Committee of the Can Loc District Party Committee to focus on overcoming them.

Continue to innovate the leadership method of the District Party Committee; create solidarity and consensus in directing and leading the implementation of tasks; strive at the highest level to complete the targets set out in the District Party Congress resolution, especially the completion of targets for building an advanced new-style rural district; implement land conversion associated with re-issuing land use right certificates to the people; promote administrative reform, improve public service ethics; focus on thoroughly resolving problems and difficulties at the grassroots level.
