Ensure every family and every person has the conditions to enjoy spring and celebrate Tet

The Provincial Party Standing Committee has just issued a document requesting Party committees at all levels, Party organizations, agencies, units, and localities to focus on leading and directing the organization of the Lunar New Year 2025, ensuring the best preparation of conditions to serve people to enjoy spring, welcome the new year safely, healthily, economically, creating new momentum and motivation, successfully carrying out the tasks of work in 2025 right from the first months of the year.

Accordingly, the Provincial Party Standing Committee requested to strengthen solidarity and unity within the Party, great national solidarity, promote the tradition of "mutual love and affection", and pay attention to and care for policy families and meritorious people.

Step up the implementation of poverty reduction programs, eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses; effectively implement social security and welfare policies, take good care of the material and spiritual lives of the people, especially those in difficult circumstances, poor households, households affected by natural disasters, epidemics, remote areas, border areas, ethnic minority areas, workers, laborers, unemployed people... to ensure that every household and every person has the conditions to enjoy spring and celebrate Tet.

Organize well the visits, encouragement, and New Year greetings to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, war invalids, sick soldiers, families of martyrs, families with meritorious services to the revolution, families of policy beneficiaries, intellectuals, artists, prestigious people among ethnic minorities, outstanding religious dignitaries, armed forces units, and regular forces on duty during the New Year holidays, at the border, and in difficult areas.

The Provincial Party Standing Committee also requested strict implementation of festival management and organization according to regulations, ensuring that spring activities, traditional anniversaries, year-end summaries, New Year meetings, tree planting festivals, etc. are practical, safe, economical, avoiding ostentation, formality, waste, and are consistent with the cultural lifestyle, traditions, customs, and good practices of the nation and locality.

Organizing fireworks displays to welcome the New Year and the Spring Festival at Ba Den Mountain in 2025 ensures safety, economy, does not use the State budget, and creates a joyful and exciting atmosphere among the people.

The Provincial Party Standing Committee reminded Party committees at all levels, Party organizations, agencies, units and localities to synchronously implement solutions to closely inspect, supervise, manage the market, stabilize prices, ensure balance between supply and demand of goods and services; ensure food safety, environmental sanitation, disease prevention and control...

Strengthen guidance, patrolling, controlling, ensuring traffic order and safety; preventing and fighting fires and explosions. Strictly implement regulations on firecracker management and use, and prevent illegal firecracker use from occurring during the Tet holiday.

In particular, the Provincial Party Standing Committee emphasized the practice of thrift, prevention and fight against corruption, waste and negativity; not organizing visits and New Year greetings to superiors and leaders at all levels. It is strictly forbidden to give or give New Year gifts to leaders at all levels in any form; not to participate in superstitious activities; leaders at all levels are only allowed to attend pagodas and festivals when assigned (except for participation in personal capacity); not to use the State budget, means and public assets against regulations for festival and entertainment activities...

Strictly implement regulations on revolutionary ethical standards; exemplary responsibility of cadres and party members and things party members are not allowed to do, especially regulations on not driving a vehicle after consuming alcohol or beer.

The Provincial Party Standing Committee emphasized the requirement for Party committees at all levels, Party organizations, agencies, units and localities to focus on strongly, resolutely and synchronously implementing the tasks of 2025 right from the first months of the year, especially on schedule to summarize Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW, streamline the organization of the political system to operate effectively and efficiently; accelerate and make breakthroughs to successfully implement the goals and tasks of 2025 and the entire term, creating a solid foundation for the whole country to enter a new era, striving to develop richly, prosperously, civilized and happy.
