Arrested 2 subjects buying and selling nearly 1,000 pink pills

Through investigation and situation assessment, on August 7, 2023, at a motel in Dong Son ward, Thanh Hoa city, the Working Group of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police coordinated with Dong Son Ward Police to arrest Le Quang Huy, born in 1987 in Truong Thi ward, Thanh Hoa city, illegally possessing more than 300 pink pills...

Investigating, expanding the case and tracing the origin of the above drugs, the police force urgently arrested Tran Trong Chien, born in 1986 in Lam Son ward, Thanh Hoa city, the subject who sold the above drugs to Le Quang Huy. Searching Chien's accommodation at a motel in Bac Son ward, Sam Son city, the police force seized 623 pink pills.

According to the initial investigation results of the police, these are two notorious subjects with many criminal records, who often rent houses to gather and organize drug trafficking. Through social networks, whenever customers want to buy drugs, these subjects ask for money in advance, then they will "ship" the drugs to the agreed location to deliver to the buyer.

Currently, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of the Provincial Police has issued a decision to temporarily detain the above two subjects, and is coordinating with functional units to continue investigating and expanding the case.
