The second match of Group A VTV Cup 2024 witnessed a thrilling victory of Vietnamese women's volleyball team against Korea Expressway (South Korea) with a score of 3-2.

In the opening match of VTV Cup 2024, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team lost to Kuanysh (Kazakhstan). Therefore, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet's team was determined to win against Korea Expressway to keep their hopes of reaching the semi-finals alive. Things did not go too smoothly for the home team. Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen played better when she was returned to the opposite position. However, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team did not really "warm up" in the first game.

Here, the home team completely controlled the situation and won 15-8, thereby ending the match with a score of 3-2. This thrilling victory helped the Vietnamese women's volleyball team revive their hope of reaching the semi-finals. Tomorrow, August 26, they will have a day off. Then, at 7:00 p.m. on August 27, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet's team will face Paint Master (Philippines). Another victory will help them get a ticket to the next round.
