At the conference, Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee Tran Luu Quang presented the decisions of the Politburo and the Secretariat on the transfer, assignment and appointment of Ms. Nguyen Thuy Anh, Member of the Central Party Committee, Chairwoman of the National Assembly 's Social Committee; Mr. Nguyen Hoang Anh, Member of the Central Party Committee, Chairman of the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises, and Mr. Nguyen The Manh, General Director of Vietnam Social Security, to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee.
Ms. Nguyen Thuy Anh (63 years old), from Viet Tri, Phu Tho; has a master's degree in public administration law. From a specialist at the National Assembly Office, Ms. Nguyen Thuy Anh served two terms as a member of the Party Central Committee (terms XII, XIII) and three terms as a National Assembly delegate (XIII, XIV, XV). She also served two terms as a member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Social Affairs Committee until this committee merged with the Culture and Education Committee.
Mr. Nguyen Hoang Anh (62 years old), from An Lao district, Hai Phong; has a master's degree in economics. Mr. Nguyen Hoang Anh grew up as the Director of Hai Phong Import-Export Trading Service Company, then went through many positions such as: Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Phong City, 11th term; Full-time member of the Social Affairs Committee of the 11th National Assembly, Vice Chairman of the Economic Committee of the 12th National Assembly, Deputy Secretary then Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Cao Bang province.
After being elected as a member of the 12th Party Central Committee on January 2016, from February 2018 to present, he was appointed as Chairman of the State Capital Management Committee at enterprises.
Mr. Nguyen The Manh (53 years old), has a master's degree in economics, trained at the Academy of Finance. Since 1995, he has been assigned to the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Finance. He has strived to mature in many positions and in January 2011 was appointed Deputy Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Finance.
In 2016, he was transferred and appointed to the position of Deputy General Director of the General Department of Taxation. He was then transferred and appointed to the position of General Director of Vietnam Social Security in 2020, before becoming Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Department.
