Re-appointing Mr. Nguyen Tuan Hung as Deputy General Director of Vietnam News Agency

On September 18, the Prime Minister issued decisions appointing and reappointing leadership positions of a number of units under the Ministry of National Defense and Vietnam News Agency.

Specifically, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 2087/QD-TTg to re-appoint Mr. Nguyen Tuan Hung as Deputy General Director of Vietnam News Agency. This Decision takes effect from September 17, 2025.

The Prime Minister issued Decision No. 2086/QD-TTg reappointing Central Party Committee member and Navy Vice Admiral Tran Thanh Nghiem to the position of Commander of the Navy. This Decision takes effect from September 11, 2025.

In Decision No. 2089/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister appointed Major General Le Dinh Cuong, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Vietnam Coast Guard, to hold the position of Commander of the Vietnam Coast Guard. This decision takes effect from September 18, 2025.

The Prime Minister issued Decision No. 2088/QD-TTg reappointing Major General Ha Tat Dat to the position of Deputy Commander of Military Region 3. This Decision takes effect from September 11, 2025.
