This morning, January 4, at MDF-VRG Quang Tri Wood Joint Stock Company (Quan Ngang Industrial Park), Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) Nguyen Van Hung visited and presented gifts to union members, workers and laborers in difficult circumstances in Quang Tri province on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025.
During the visit and gift-giving ceremony, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung kindly inquired about the health and shared the difficulties in the lives of union members, workers and laborers in difficult circumstances. At the same time, he presented 100 gifts from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor worth 130 million VND to 100 union members, workers and laborers in difficult circumstances in Quang Tri province.

Speaking at the visit and gift-giving ceremony, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung emphasized that, implementing the Party and State's policy on social security, in recent years, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has made efforts to mobilize resources to focus on taking care of the material and spiritual life of union members, workers and laborers. In 2024, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has asked members of the Party Central Committee to take on the task of visiting and giving gifts to union members, workers and laborers in localities, including Quang Tri province, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025.

Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung wished all union members, workers and laborers in the province good health, to overcome difficulties and thrive in life.
It is known that during this working trip, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung will present 150 Tet gifts to families of Patriotic Political Prisoners Association and poor households in the province.
