Minister Dao Ngoc Dung gives gifts to meritorious people and poor households in Thanh Hoa

(Dan Tri) - Minister Dao Ngoc Dung presented 50 gifts and 5 houses to meritorious people and poor households in Thieu Hoa district, Thanh Hoa province.

On the afternoon of December 4, at the meeting with voters of Thieu Hoa district, Thanh Hoa province after the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly, Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung presented 5 houses worth 80 million VND each to meritorious people and 50 gifts to policy families, poor households, and households in difficult circumstances in Thieu Hoa district.

Receiving the gift from the Minister, Mr. Pham Van Thanh, a 71% disabled veteran, in Sub-region 3, Thieu Hoa town, said he was very moved.

"This year I am 77 years old, and I was very happy and excited to receive a gift from the Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs. I am also touched that the Party and the State always care about the material and spiritual lives of war invalids and policy families..."

Mr. Nguyen Thien Lac, a 51% disabled veteran in Sub-zone 3, Thieu Hoa town, said that the gift given by the Minister is a great source of encouragement for disabled veterans, sick soldiers, and policy families to have more motivation in life.
