As originally planned, virtual singer Ann marked her return with the song Cry , a rock-baby voice song. The event took place on the afternoon of August 21 in Ho Chi Minh City.
Virtual singer Ann gradually overcomes her shortcomings
Receiving comments about her lack of emotional facial expressions and mouth movements in the debut MV, the crew has made improvements to create a more polished image of virtual singer Ann.
Mr. Bobo Dang - representative of Ann's management company - said that he directly participated in the image production stage, applying advanced CGI technology to bring new, high-quality images to the market.
"We always closely follow the changes in the music market and audience tastes to build a more reasonable and complete image of singer Ann, enhancing the audience experience" - Mr. Bobo Dang further explained.
Regarding the voice, the audience feels a unique voice, no longer like a real singer because the rock-baby voice genre has not been pursued by many singers.
Ann's father said that Ann will pursue a vibrant music genre. The team will release many reborn versions so that the song Cry has many different colors and emotions.

MV Cry focuses more on special effects
MV Cry is built on a fantasy story, full of drama and many visual effects.
When asked if the MV's heavy investment in special effects would overshadow Ann's voice and image, the producer's representative shared:

"We used a lot of special effects to create impressive frames, scenes that do not exist in reality, and at the same time better convey the creative ideas and messages of the song to the audience.
Besides that, experiment with combining choreography, specifically ballet to rock music.
This only adds to the audience experience, not making the virtual singer inferior."
In the MV, there is a scene where Ann falls from the sky to the clouds and stops on the ground with a dance, making the audience afraid of creating negative thoughts.
Bobo Dang explained: "This image is metaphorical, has clear artistic value, and comes from the director's intention.
When the person Ann loved was no longer there, the world seemed to be all alone with Ann.
For virtual singers' MVs, having unrealistic scenes is normal. The crew tries to create the best frames, expressing the MV's meaning but not bringing negative feelings to the audience."
The production team has been perfecting Ann's image and performance skills, ready to collaborate with real artists in the near future.
During the new MV introduction, Ann performed for the first time with a live band, bringing many emotions to the audience.

Virtual singer Ann debuted in March 2023 with her first MV called How to Say I Love You.
The music market has seen the emergence of a virtual singer that has surprised audiences. However, both her appearance and voice have received mixed reactions.
Some people say that Ann's acting is stiff, her mouth movements do not match the sound. Her voice reminds many people of singer Thuy Chi.
At that time, Mr. Bobo Dang - the creator of singer Ann - affirmed that the crew did not imitate Thuy Chi's voice.
