On the morning of March 14, Thanh Hoa Literature and Arts Association held a conference to summarize the work in 2023, deploy tasks in 2024 and admit new members.

2023 is a pivotal year to look back at half of the term to implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress and the first year to put the Resolution of the 10th Congress of Thanh Hoa Literature and Arts Association into practice. Under the leadership of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, the Party Delegation of Thanh Hoa Literature and Arts Association, all cadres, party members and members have strived, drawn experiences, overcome limitations, improved both the heart and vision of artists, actively contributing to the comprehensive development of Thanh Hoa province in the process of becoming a new growth pole in the North of the Fatherland, becoming a development center in all aspects of the North Central provinces as the spirit of Resolution No. 58 of the Politburo has built.
The authors who won prizes at the Central level received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
2023 also recognized the proactive spirit in creative work of the Clubs sponsored by the Literature and Arts Association, such as: Lam Son Young Painters Club, Thanh Hoa Young Architects Club, Thanh Hoa Female Artists Club, Thanh Hoa Calligraphy Club; youth literature, ethnic literature of the mountainous regions... Artists have worked hard in creative art, creating many valuable literary and artistic works that have been warmly received by the public.
Notably, in 2023, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association had 3 authors receiving the State Prize for Literature and Arts, namely researcher Cao Son Hai, writer Tu Nguyen Tinh and People's Artist and musician Hoang Hai.
The groups received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of Thanh Hoa Literature and Arts Association.
This is also a successful year for the Literature and Arts Association with the activities of 11 specialized committees: Successfully organizing Vietnam Poetry Day 2024 in Thanh Hoa; Fine Arts Exhibition with the theme "Non nuoc xu Thanh" attracted 198 works of 110 authors from 14 provinces and cities across the country to participate. This activity not only enhances the Thanh Hoa Fine Arts industry but also contributes to promoting the image, culture of the land and people of Thanh to friends across the country.
In addition, the practical creative activities create opportunities for artists to refresh their emotions, develop creative ideas, and at the same time get closer to life. After the field trips, members of the specialized committees actively created and produced many quality works that were released and received positive feedback from the public as well as readers. Since then, many authors have received awards in, outside the province and at the central level, typically the works: "Folk Culture of the Sea - Island of Thanh land" by author Hoang Ba Tuong, won the excellent prize of the 2023 Literature and Arts Award of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations; "Going out to sea" by author Le Hai Anh won the Encouragement prize, "Peace" by author Nguyen Van Chuyen won the Young Author prize at the 28th Regional Fine Arts Exhibition IV (North Central) in Thua Thien - Hue; "Lam Kinh Festival" by author Vu Trong Thanh won the Third prize in the "Vietnamese Cultural Heritage through Painting" contest of the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Association...; "Highland Painting" by author Le Cong Binh won the FIAP Gold Medal of the International Art Photography Contest, "Construction of Thung Thi Tunnel" by author Ngo Thanh An won the Bronze Medal, "Spring Honey Drop" by author Nguyen Hong Thuy won the Encouragement prize at the Art Photography Festival of the North Central region in May. 8/2023 in Quang Tri ; the reportage "The person who spreads the flame of Thai culture" by author Cam Ba Phuong won the Encouragement Prize at the National Television Film Festival and "Leaving the fields but not leaving the village" won the B prize - Tran Mai Ninh; the song "Returning to Moc Chau" by author Doan Dung won the A prize at the 2nd National Music Festival in 2023 of the Vietnam Musicians Association; "Binh minh song Ma" by author Hoang Hai won the First prize at the Festival in Quang Tri...
At the conference, 15 collectives and 32 individuals with outstanding achievements in labor and creative arts in 2022 and 2023 received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Literature and Arts Association.
In particular, 70 authors and groups of authors received annual literary and artistic awards. Of these, 57 authors and groups of authors whose works won A, B, and C prizes received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, with a total prize of 338 million VND, and 13 authors and groups of authors whose works won the Encouragement Prize received awards, with a total prize of 26 million VND.

The Chairman of Thanh Hoa Literature and Arts Association presented flowers and Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to the authors who won the C prize of the Literature and Arts Award in 2022 and 2023.
The annual award is a measure of the quality of activities of not only each member but also of the entire Provincial Literature and Arts Association in a year of emulation, labor and creativity. This is also a motivation for artists to continue to make efforts to contribute and work artistically to produce high-quality works.
At the conference, Thanh Hoa Literature and Arts Association also awarded admission decisions to 9 new members.
