TPO - Linh Nam Street (Hoang Mai District) connecting Ring Road 2.5 and Ring Road 3 is only 7-8m wide and is preparing to be expanded to 40m.

Recently, the Hanoi People's Committee issued a decision approving the adjustment of the implementation time, upgrading and expanding Linh Nam Street (Hoang Mai District) according to the planning, to be completed in 2027.

The investment scale of the project to upgrade the route and synchronous technical infrastructure according to the planning with a total length of about 3,600m, including 2 sections with 2 cross-sections of 22.5m and 40m.

Once completed, the route will act as a traffic connection between Ring Road 2.5 and Ring Road 3, making traffic from Thanh Tri Bridge - Ring Road 3 to Dam Hong - Thanh Xuan more convenient.

To implement the project, Hoang Mai district must clear land on an area of ​​more than 98,000 square meters, with 829 households and 19 organizations in 4 wards: Mai Dong, Vinh Hung, Linh Nam and Tran Phu.

According to the reporter, this road is only about 7-8m wide but has to "carry" a large amount of vehicles every day.

The road is often congested, especially during rush hour.

People are always worried when traveling on this route because there are often large trucks, dump trucks, container trucks...

Many sections of Linh Nam Street have almost no sidewalks.

The road surface here is gradually deteriorating, with potholes appearing.
