Also related to the flood situation, on the evening of November 14, heavy rain and strong winds broke trees and blew off the roofs of some houses in Lang Co town (Phu Loc district, Thua Thien - Hue province). Specifically, heavy rain and strong winds blew off the roofs of 4 houses in the coastal area of Dong Duong residential group; some trees fell and caused traffic jams in Lang Co town (Phu Loc district).

Immediately after receiving the information, Lang Co Border Guard Station (under the Border Guard Command of Thua Thien Hue province) mobilized 15 officers and soldiers to coordinate with local authorities to evacuate people and property to a safe place; support people to repair houses, and fix fallen trees to allow people to move around.
A representative of the Border Guard Command of Thua Thien - Hue province said that the unit currently maintains 380 officers, soldiers and 24 vehicles on duty 24/7; directs units to grasp the weather and local situation; coordinate with local authorities to review and develop plans to evacuate people in dangerous areas; and prepare forces and vehicles to carry out tasks when situations arise.
