Huong Khe Vocational Training, Career Guidance and Continuing Education Center (GDTX) has an area of 35,700 m2, with an investment of 39 billion VND, located in Huong Binh commune (Huong Khe, Ha Tinh). |

This school was started in 2011, with the People's Committee of Huong Khe district as the investor. |

After nearly 3 years of construction, the completed items include: Head office; theory building; practice workshop; poultry laboratory; livestock laboratory; library; dining hall and installation of teaching equipment; 3-storey dormitory. By September 2014, the school was put into use. |

The goal when building the school was to ensure the learning needs of 600 students. However, after construction was completed, the number of students decreased year by year, the highest year was more than 100 students attending. |

After many years of training but failing to attract students, in 2021, the Huong Khe District Continuing Education Center had to close because it could not meet its initial goals. |

Nowadays, the center is abandoned, becoming shabby and desolate. |

The interior facilities have seriously degraded, the school grounds are shabby, and many areas are used by people to graze chickens, raise buffalo, cows, and goats. |

It is known that the Continuing Education Center of Huong Khe district in Huong Binh commune is the second facility. Right from the beginning of construction, many opinions said that the location of the center was unreasonable, far from the central area in Huong Khe town. |

Because of that, the number of students decreased sharply every year. By 2021, the center was forced to close, and students studying at this facility were transferred to study at facility 1. |
Mr. Le Van Hop - Director of the Center for Vocational Education - Continuing Education (in Huong Khe town) said that after the center at Huong Binh facility was abandoned, the unit transferred all students to study at the facility in Huong Khe town. Currently, the center has 550 students in 13 classes. As for the facility in Huong Binh commune, the unit is hiring people to look after and protect the property here, waiting for a plan to hand it over to the locality for management.
According to the leader of the Center for Vocational Education and Continuing Education of Huong Khe district, the unit is also building a practice workshop worth about 2.5 billion VND. After the workshop is completed, the machinery from the old facility will be transferred to this facility so that students can both practice their profession and receive continuing education.
