Party committees, authorities and people of flooded communes in Son La bid farewell to soldiers

On September 28, after nearly 2 months of staying in the flood-affected areas to support people in building and repairing houses after floods in communes of Son La province, more than 500 officers and soldiers of the Son La Provincial Military Command and Division 316, Military Region 2 marched back to their units.

Officers and soldiers reluctantly said goodbye to the people before marching back to their units.

To say goodbye to the troops, early in the morning, leaders and people from the communes were present on the routes the delegation passed through to send greetings, thanks and wishes to the officers and soldiers.

Packages of sticky rice, bottles of water and local products were sent by the people to the soldiers as a thank you for their sense of responsibility and hard work over the past two months.

Previously, the Party Committee, government and people of the communes organized a cultural exchange program to express the military-civilian relationship to say goodbye to the officers and soldiers of the units.

With the spirit of all for the people, the military forces have completed the task of helping people in flood-affected areas build, relocate and repair 318 houses that were completely collapsed and severely damaged by floods in late July and early August.

The timely support and assistance of officers and soldiers of the Son La Provincial Military Command, Division 316, Military Region 2 and other forces has created motivation and support for people in flood-affected areas to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
