The television bridge was directed by the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, organized and implemented by Vietnam Television in coordination with Hanoi, Hue, and Ho Chi Minh City. The program was broadcast live on VTV1 (Vietnam Television) and digital platforms.
Attending the program at the Hanoi bridge point were Politburo member and President Luong Cuong. Also attending were Politburo members: Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee Phan Dinh Trac; Minister of National Defense - General Phan Van Giang.
Also attending were former Politburo member, former Head of the Central Ideology and Culture Commission Nguyen Khoa Diem; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Party Central Committee Office Le Hoai Trung; Party Central Committee members: Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh, and Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh.
Attending the program at the Hue city bridge point were Politburo member, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. Also attending were Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council Nguyen Xuan Thang; Party Central Committee member, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son; Party Central Committee member, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Hue City People's Council Le Truong Luu.
At the Ho Chi Minh City bridge point, there were Politburo members: National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man; Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia; Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Nen. Also attending were Party Central Committee Secretary, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court Le Minh Tri; Party Central Committee member, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh.
Attending at 3 locations were comrades of the Party Central Committee; leaders of central departments, ministries, branches and organizations; leaders of several provinces and centrally run cities; veterans, former youth volunteers, cadres, party members and people. In addition, there were millions of viewers watching live on television and digital platforms.
Feel the spirit of "Opportunities must be created by people"
The “Golden Opportunity” TV bridge took place at 3 meaningful locations. They are the Hanoi Flag Tower - one of the symbols of national independence; Ngo Mon Square (Hue) - the place connecting the past and the present and Nha Rong Wharf (Ho Chi Minh City) - where Uncle Ho left to find a way to save the Vietnamese people.
Inspired by Uncle Ho's poem "Learning to Play Chess" - simple but powerful verses about the art of seizing opportunities, the television show "Golden Opportunity" brings the audience back to historical moments, feeling the spirit of "Opportunities must be created by people" and continuing the aspiration to build a strong Vietnam.
The program takes the audience through three chapters. Chapter I “Must look broadly, think carefully”, the audience seems to return to the historic August days, feeling the boiling atmosphere when the whole nation stood up. The vivid scenes in this part highlight that our Party and Uncle Ho had a far-sighted vision, seized the “Golden Opportunity”, opened the era of independence, freedom, and building socialism.
In chapter 2 “Resolutely and relentlessly attacking”, the audience is led through 80 years of history, from the Nine Years of Dien Bien Phu, the historic spring of national unification to the brilliant renovation. Each step is a time when our nation turns challenges into opportunities, creating opportunities with our own hands and hearts.
Chapter 3 “Certain Success” shows a Vietnam of today, facing a new “Golden Opportunity”, an era of development, prosperity and strength. Everyone can contribute to a bright future. It is a call to stand up, act and continue writing the story of oneself and of the nation.
At the program, viewers met and listened to living witnesses who had gone through important moments of the country, such as Ms. Nguyen Thi Binh, former Vice President, who played an important role in signing the Paris Agreement in 1973; Colonel - Hero Tu Cang, head of the legendary H63 Intelligence Group; Colonel, Associate Professor, Dr. Ho Son Dai; Mr. Doan Do, former member of the Vietnamese Delegation at the Geneva Conference; Colonel - musician Doan Nho...
Along with that, there are people who have lived and contributed through the country's transformational moments such as Mr. Pham Chanh Truc - former Chairman of the People's Council of Ho Chi Minh City; Dr. Le Dang Doanh, Mr. Luong Van Tu - former Chief Representative of Vietnam Trade in Singapore, Ms. Ton Nu Thi Ninh - former Deputy Head of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly...

The “Golden Opportunity” TV show also brings the audience into a majestic, emotional and proud artistic space. The historical live performances are elaborately staged, as if the audience is present in the Tan Trao resistance capital, or in the middle of the bustling streets of Hanoi, Hue, Saigon - Cho Lon - Gia Dinh. 3D mapping technology and multidimensional stage turn Hanoi Flag Tower, Ngo Mon Square or Nha Rong Wharf into spaces that are both ancient and modern.
