On the afternoon of July 24, a working delegation of the Provincial Party Committee led by Party Central Committee member and Secretary of An Giang Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Tien Hai visited policy families and workers to celebrate the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025); inspected activities and facilities in Vinh Thong ward and Hon Dat commune.

Speaking at the visit to families of policy beneficiaries and people with meritorious services to the revolution, Party Central Committee member and An Giang Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Tien Hai affirmed that this is an activity with profound humanistic meaning, demonstrating the nation's morality of "When drinking water, remember its source". On the occasion of the country celebrating the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day on July 27 and preparing to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2, the leaders of the Party, State and An Giang province organized many delegations to visit and express gratitude to those who sacrificed and devoted their blood and bones for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
