Soldiers on April 30th parade say goodbye to Ho Chi Minh City residents and return to their units.

On the morning of May 2, at Tan Son Nhat Airport, Ho Chi Minh City, the parade groups at the 50th anniversary of national reunification completed procedures to board the plane to return to their units after successfully completing their mission.

The farewell ceremony took place in a warm, friendly atmosphere between the army and the people.

To encourage and show gratitude to the parade soldiers, from early morning, many people and representatives of departments and branches were present at the airport to see the delegation off.

Over the past time, the soldiers have had long days of training and high-intensity marching and marching, regardless of day or night, to excellently complete their mission.

Radiant on the day of departure to the unit, soldier Tran Thi Ha Trang, peacekeeping unit shared: "This is the first time participating in a parade of such great importance, so I have clearly determined my responsibility to the country. Although today I have to temporarily say goodbye to Ho Chi Minh City, the heroic memories of the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification will stay with me forever."

Coming to see off the officers and soldiers at Tan Son Nhat airport were Vice Chairwoman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Tran Thi Dieu Thuy and representatives of the Ho Chi Minh City Command.

At the airport, soldiers and people exchanged warm feelings and strong military-civilian ties while waiting to check in for their flights.

Female soldier Pham Thi Anh, Vietnam peacekeepers, took a short photo with her family before boarding the plane to return to her unit.

"It is a pride and honor to be on duty at the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification. This will be one of the most memorable memories of my life," said soldier Pham Thi Anh.

Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Nguyen Phuoc Loc presented soldiers with a checkered scarf - a typical gift of the Southern region.
