According to information from the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province, in recent times, the work of arranging telecommunication cables in the province has had many positive changes. Departments, branches and People's Committees of localities regularly direct and coordinate with telecommunication enterprises and Tay Ninh Electricity Company to bundle cables on many central routes such as National Highway 22B, National Highway 22, 30/4 Street, Tran Hung Dao, Nguyen Van Rop, etc., contributing to improving urban aesthetics.

However, in reality, there are still cases of cable cars that do not comply with regulations, sag, overlap with electric cables or cross the road at an unsafe height, causing traffic insecurity.

Notably, according to preliminary statistics from the Department of Science and Technology, there are currently about 15% of telecommunication cables in the province that have not been properly upgraded, concentrated in densely populated areas and small roads. This is also an issue that has been repeatedly raised by voters and questioned by People's Council delegates at all levels.

To thoroughly handle this situation, the Provincial People's Committee requires the People's Committees of communes and wards to make annual plans to renovate telecommunication cables and send them to the Department of Science and Technology, prioritizing main streets, tourist areas, relic sites, and densely populated areas.

At the same time, strengthen inspection and handling of violations according to the provisions of Decree 15/2020/ND-CP and Decree 14/2022/ND-CP. Telecommunications enterprises and Tay Ninh Electricity Company review and remove damaged cables and unused cables; new cables must comply with QCVN 33:2019/BTTTT standards, have identification cards according to regulations; ensure safe distance when cables cross roads, bridges, and rivers.

The Department of Science and Technology is in charge of supervising and providing technical guidance; researching and proposing to bury some cable lines in the area in the period 2025-2030.

The Department of Construction and the Department of Industry and Trade coordinate to survey and handle violations, and promptly notify road expansion projects to promptly relocate and adjust cable systems.

Tay Ninh Electricity Company checks and ensures electrical safety during the renovation process; promptly stops construction if safety risks are detected.

In the 2025-2027 period, Tay Ninh will focus on renovating the entire cable system on 100% of inner-city roads in some localities, and at the same time piloting the undergrounding of about 20km of telecommunications cables in key commercial and tourist centers.

Along with that, the province also called on people to participate in monitoring and reporting through the 1022 system or the Tay Ninh Smart application, contributing to building a safe and modern telecommunications infrastructure, meeting the requirements of socio-economic development in the new period./.
