HDB shares reversed and hit the ceiling, VN-Index dropped more than 3 points

NDO - On December 30, the red color almost covered the electronic board and the cash flow into the market was small, causing the VN-Index to lose points almost throughout the session. The highlight of this session was the stock HDB, which unexpectedly reversed the trend and increased to the ceiling price of 26,650 VND/share. At the end of the session, the VN-Index decreased by 3.12 points to 1,272.02 points.

On the HoSE floor, the matched order value this session decreased compared to the previous session, reaching more than VND 10,012.33 billion.

Today's session, VN30 stock group closed with 6 codes increasing, 4 codes remaining unchanged and 20 codes decreasing.

Of which, HDB increased to the ceiling price of 26,650 VND/share, POW increased by 1.25%, STB increased by 1.2%.

Codes: CTG,FPT , SAB increased slightly.

Four codes stopped at the reference including: BCM, VIC, VPB, VRE.

On the other hand, BID decreased by 2.3% to VND38,250/share,VIB decreased by 1.5%, SSB decreased by 1.18%, VJC decreased by 1.09%, MBB decreased by 1%.

The remaining codes: ACB, BVH, GAS, GVR, HPG, MSN, MWG, PLX,SHB , SSI, TCB, TPB, VCB, VHM, VNM decreased slightly.

In terms of industry groups, steel stocks traded quite positively when closing the session leaning towards green with VCA up 1.64%, DTL up 1%, HMC, NKG, SMC up slightly. On the contrary, TLH down 1.29%, HPG and HSG down slightly.

Securities stocks closed down. In addition to SSI mentioned above, APG fell 5.56% to VND6,790/share, TCI fell 2.27%, VIX fell 1.48%, CTS, DSE, ORS, VCI, VND fell slightly. On the contrary, VDS increased 1.44%, HCM increased slightly, and the codes: AGR, BSI, FTS, TVB, TVS stopped at reference.

Banking stocks also closed the session with most of the codes decreasing. * At the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 228.14 points, down 0.99 points (-0.43%). Liquidity reached a total of more than 34.80 million shares transferred, with a corresponding trading value of more than VND560.15 billion. The VN30 Index increased by 0.51 points (+0.04%) to 1,347.35 points. Liquidity reached more than 179.54 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND5,237.47 billion.
