Dong Thap police provide free transportation for driving test candidates outside the province

On September 20, the leader of the Traffic Police Department, Dong Thap Provincial Police, said that on the same day, the unit organized free pick-up and drop-off for 288 candidates taking the driving test in Tay Ninh province.

The reason candidates have to take the test outside the province is that the driving test centers in Dong Thap province are in the process of repairing and upgrading to add the C-class driving test format, and do not yet meet the conditions for testing drivers for this class.

The demand for C-class driving tests is relatively high. Most of them are absentees, those who failed previous tests, and those whose driving licenses have expired.

To meet the demand for C-class car driving tests for people, the Traffic Police Department, Dong Thap Provincial Police coordinated with Long An Traffic Technical College (Tay Ninh Province) to organize C-class car driving tests for 288 candidates this time.

The biggest obstacle for candidates taking the exam is the distance, in many places nearly 130km.

To create the most favorable conditions and most comfortable psychology for candidates, the Traffic Police Department has proactively coordinated with training facilities to arrange free transportation.

Not only that, the unit also coordinated with the driving test center to organize classification, comparison and completion of records to transfer data to the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) to synchronize into the system, ensuring that after 2 hours from the end of the exam council, people have a driver's license number to participate in traffic.
