Quang Ninh Provincial Police take care of survivors of tourist boat capsizing

Recently, at the National Children's Hospital (Hanoi), Major General Tran Van Phuc, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Party Secretary, Director of Quang Ninh Provincial Police, and representatives of leaders of a number of professional departments of the Provincial Police visited, encouraged and provided support to Hoang Nhat Minh (10 years old), one of the lucky survivors of the capsized tourist boat Bay Xanh QN-7105 that occurred in Ha Long Bay on July 19, 2025.

Hoang Nhat Minh currently lives in Hoang Mai, Hanoi , and is a student at Chu Van An Primary School. In the tragic accident, Minh lost a blood relative and is being treated at the National Children's Hospital with many psychological traumas.

Major General Tran Van Phuc, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Party Secretary, Director of Quang Ninh Provincial Police, and leaders of professional departments presented 200 million VND in support money and sponsored Hoang Nhat Minh.

Sharing Minh's special circumstances, Major General Tran Van Phuc expressed his deep sympathy and encouraged him to overcome his difficulties, stabilize his spirit and health to continue studying and growing up. The Director of the Provincial Police Department affirmed that the Quang Ninh Police force not only performs the task of protecting security and order, but also always accompanies and shares with the less fortunate.

At the visit, on behalf of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of Quang Ninh Provincial Police, Major General Tran Van Phuc presented 200 million VND in support and took on the role of sponsor for Hoang Nhat Minh until he grows up.

The sponsorship and financial support for Minh demonstrates the humanitarian spirit, social responsibility and noble gesture of the People's Public Security force in general, and Quang Ninh Provincial Public Security in particular, in caring for and supporting victims and families affected by natural disasters and serious accidents.
