Announcing the decision and inspection plan of the Central Steering Committee on preventing and combating corruption and negativity

This afternoon, October 3, Inspection Team No. 1 of the Central Steering Committee on Anti-Corruption and Negativity, led by Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Do Van Chien, worked with the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to announce the decision and inspection plan at the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on leadership, direction, and implementation of the coordination mechanism to detect and handle corruption and negativity through inspection, investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgments. Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien emphasized that the working group's viewpoint is to carry out its tasks impartially, objectively, transparently, without any forbidden areas or exceptions, regardless of who the person is, to ensure the requirements are met. This is a regular inspection task of the Central Steering Committee on preventing and combating corruption and negativity.

The purpose of anti-corruption and anti-corruption work is to strictly maintain Party discipline and ensure socialist rule of law, in which prevention is the main thing and combat is urgent. Through anti-corruption and anti-corruption work, it aims to develop the local socio-economic situation and, by extension, the country's socio-economic situation. Anti-corruption and anti-corruption work is the work of the entire Party, the entire people and the entire army, in which the inspection, auditing, investigation, prosecution, trial and execution agencies are the main players.

At the conference, Mr. Doan Hong Ngoc, Head of Local Department 2, Central Internal Affairs Committee, Secretary of the inspection team announced the Decision to establish the inspection team, the inspection plan for the Standing Committee of Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee on leadership, direction, organization and implementation of the coordination mechanism to detect and handle corruption and negativity through inspection, audit, investigation, prosecution, trial and execution of judgments in Quang Tri. The inspection period and data collection time for reporting are from April 1, 2021 to March 31, 2024.

Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Commission Ly Kieu Van reported on the results of leadership, direction, and organization of the implementation of the coordination mechanism to detect and handle corruption and negativity through inspection, investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgment activities of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee in the past time.

Speaking at the conference, Provincial Party Secretary, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Le Quang Tung affirmed that in recent times, with the attention of the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Central Steering Committee on anti-corruption and anti-negativity as well as central ministries, departments and branches, the anti-corruption and anti-negativity work of Quang Tri province has been strengthened, thereby achieving important results, contributing to the task of Party building, building an increasingly clean and strong political system, promoting socio-economic development, consolidating trust, creating a very high consensus among cadres, party members and people in the leadership of the Party.

Quang Tri province carries out the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity in a non-stop spirit, with no forbidden areas and no exceptions. In the coming time, Quang Tri province will continue to consider the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity as one of the key and important tasks of Party building.

Provincial Party Secretary, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Le Quang Tung requested that the inspected Party committees, agencies and localities closely coordinate with the delegation to seriously implement the plan of the Central Steering Committee on preventing and combating corruption and negativity. This is an opportunity for all levels and sectors in the province to review this work to perform their functions and tasks more properly according to regulations.

In the coming time, the Standing Committee of Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee hopes to continue to receive the attention and direction of the Central Steering Committee on anti-corruption and anti-negativity and central agencies, departments and branches, contributing to improving the effectiveness of anti-corruption and anti-negativity work in the locality.
