Hanoi Trade Union receives 151 grassroots trade unions

On June 29, the Hanoi City Labor Federation (HLF) informed that, implementing the policy of streamlining the political system's organizational structure and operating effectively and efficiently, the Hanoi City Labor Federation has organized the reception of 151 grassroots unions from the Labor Federations of districts in the area.

Notably, the Thanh Oai District Labor Federation has organized the handover of grassroots trade unions under the district Labor Federation to the Hanoi City Labor Federation for management.

Specifically, the Thanh Oai District Labor Federation has ended the operations of 94 grassroots unions of administrative agencies and public service units receiving 100% of state budget salaries; dissolved 28 grassroots unions of enterprises that did not meet operating conditions; and handed over 40 grassroots unions to the Hanoi City Labor Federation for management.

The My Duc District Labor Federation has organized the handover of 13 grassroots unions under the district Labor Federation to the Hanoi City Labor Federation for management. At the same time, the activities of 124 grassroots unions of administrative agencies and public service units receiving 100% of the State budget salary were terminated; and 28 grassroots unions of enterprises that did not meet the conditions for operation were dissolved.

Thuong Tin District Labor Federation organized the handover of 98 grassroots trade unions under the District Labor Federation with 7,311 union members to the Hanoi City Labor Federation for management.

According to Vice President of Hanoi City Labor Confederation Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy, this is a step to implement the Project of Hanoi City Labor Confederation on ending the activities of the Trade Union at the grassroots level, ensuring requirements, quality and progress. The City Labor Confederation will accompany the grassroots Trade Unions to perform well the functions and tasks of the Trade Union organization - especially in caring for, representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers; launching emulation movements among union members and workers.

From there, continue to affirm and enhance the role and position of the Trade Union organization, actively contributing to the overall development of the capital and the country.
