COV sponsors water filtration systems for 12 schools in Da Nang

From September 10 to 12, the Danang City Union of Friendship Organizations coordinated with the non-governmental organization Children of Vietnam (COV, USA) to hand over 12 water filtration systems and 3 wells to 12 schools.

Schools receiving support include: Dai Lanh Primary School (Nguyen Van Bong campus and Ngo Quang Tam campus), Thuong Duc commune; Dai Tan Primary and Secondary School, Phu Thuan commune; Le Hong Phong High School, Thu Bon commune; Que Xuan 2 Primary School and Que Xuan 2 Kindergarten (main campus), Xuan Phu commune; Que Chau Primary School (campus 2) and Que Chau Kindergarten (main campus), Que Son Trung commune; Le Duy Dinh Primary School (former Tien Phong Primary School) and Huynh Thuc Khang High School, Tien Phuoc commune; Tien Lanh Primary School, Lanh Ngoc commune; Le Hong Phong Secondary School, Son Cam Ha commune.

COV also donated 50 bicycles to students in difficult circumstances, helping them to get to school conveniently.

According to the Union of Friendship Organizations of Da Nang City, this program is part of the non-project framework "Supporting water filtration equipment for schools and bicycles for disadvantaged students in Da Nang City" sponsored by COV, with a total cost of 1 billion VND.

The City Union of Friendship Organizations is the unit that mobilizes, receives and coordinates to schools and localities in Da Nang.
