Emulation cluster No. 4 of the Ethnic Committee summarizes emulation work

Emulation Cluster No. 4 was established under Decision No. 441/QD-UBDT dated July 8, 2024 of the Ethnic Committee on the assignment of Cluster Leaders, Block Leaders, Deputy Cluster Leaders, and Deputy Block Leaders in the field of ethnic work in 2024. Emulation Cluster No. 4 includes: Ethnic Committees of Dak Lak, Phu Yen , Binh Dinh, Lam Dong, Dak Nong, Khanh Hoa, Kon Tum, Gia Lai provinces. In 2024, the Dak Lak Provincial Ethnic Committee was assigned to be the Cluster Leader; the Phu Yen Provincial Ethnic Committee was assigned to be the Deputy Cluster Leader.

According to the Emulation Summary Report for 2024, in the recent past, units in Emulation Cluster No. 4 have proactively advised and deployed, effectively implemented key tasks of the ethnic affairs sector. Typically: The National Target Program for Socio -Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas for the period 2021 - 2030, Phase I: from 2021 to 2025; the organization of the 4th Congress of Ethnic Minority Delegates in 2024; the organization of the Law Competition on Ethnic Minority Affairs in 2024 and the implementation of many other programs and activities.

All units in the cluster have successfully completed the implementation of targets and plans related to the National Target Program 1719; successfully organized the 4th Congress of Ethnic Minorities at district and provincial levels in 2024 as planned.   timely commend and propose competent authorities to commend outstanding collectives and individuals in ethnic work and implementation of ethnic policies. In addition, successfully organize the 2024 Law Competition on Ethnic Work with many different competitions and forms, contributing to improving people's understanding of the law, especially legal policies on ethnic work in the new situation, creating an exciting atmosphere of solidarity among ethnic groups.

In 2025, units in Emulation Cluster No. 4 will closely follow the industry and provincial targets to advise the Provincial People's Committee to perform the State management function on ethnic affairs in the province; continue to thoroughly grasp, disseminate and implement the Law on Emulation and Commendation, Directives of the Party, the State, the Ethnic Committee, and the province on implementing patriotic emulation movements and emulation and commendation work; organize exchanges, study, and share good practices and new models in professional work and emulation and commendation work among units in the Cluster...

The Ethnic Committees in the Emulation Cluster attending the Conference contributed their opinions to the draft Report on the Summary of Emulation Work in 2024, the direction and tasks for 2024; the development of the Regulations of Emulation Cluster No. 4... Speaking at the conference, Deputy Head of the Department of Local Ethnic Affairs Pham Thi Phuoc An said: With the function of the Department of Local Ethnic Affairs, being invited to attend the Conference, the representative of the leadership of the Department of Local Ethnic Affairs acknowledged and congratulated the results of the 8 Ethnic Committees in Emulation Cluster No. 4 achieved in 2024. As the first year of implementation and starting from July, the Head of Emulation Cluster No. 4 issued an Action Plan, actively organized the implementation of emulation tasks in the last 6 months of the year and achieved some results.

Deputy Director Pham Thi Phuoc An hopes that in 2025, the Ethnic Committees in the Cluster will better implement the Regulations on organization and operation of the Emulation Cluster and the Emulation Block in the field of ethnic work; well implement assigned political tasks; pay special attention to building and replicating typical advanced examples in units in the Emulation Cluster, contributing to promoting the emulation movement in the field of ethnic work in the region and in the ethnic work sector.

At the conference summarizing the emulation work in 2024, the delegates agreed that in 2025, the Phu Yen Provincial Ethnic Committee would be the Cluster Leader; the Gia Lai Provincial Ethnic Committee would be the Deputy Cluster Leader. Emulation Cluster No. 4 proposed the Minister and Chairman of the Ethnic Committee to award the Emulation Flag to the Dak Lak Provincial Ethnic Committee; and to award Certificates of Merit to the Phu Yen and Binh Dinh Provincial Ethnic Committees.
