Speaking about the significance of the contest, Deputy Director of the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, Dr. Nguyen Van Tu said: “ Hai Phong is a land rich in cultural traditions, preserving many valuable cultural heritages. Hai Phong is also a studious homeland, producing many talents for the country.”
He emphasized: “The contest not only provides useful knowledge but is also a playground of 'learning while playing - playing while learning', helping Hai Phong students love history more, appreciate their homeland's heritage, and thereby strive to excel in their studies and in life.”
The final round had three teams from Hoang Dieu Secondary School, Chu Van An Secondary School and Hong Bang Secondary School. The contestants went through three competitions: Learning about the Temple of Literature – Quoc Tu Giam, Learning about Hai Phong cultural heritage and Journey to find heritage; the program also had a competition for the audience and an art exchange.
As a result, Hong Bang Secondary School team excellently won First Prize; The Organizing Committee also awarded Second Prize, Third Prize, Talent Prize and Style Prize.
The contest is a useful playground, helping Hai Phong students to both study and experience, and nurture pride in their homeland, a place associated with many precious relics and heritages of the nation.
