The order of the exam subjects is as follows: Literature, foreign language, math, specialized/integrated subjects
According to the examination board, the math score distribution had many surprises. Specifically, the number of candidates with a score of 5 on the test was the highest with 7,167 students; 49 candidates scored 10 points; 31 students scored 9.75 points; 357 students scored 8.5 points...
Of the three subjects in the 10th grade exam, math is the subject with a lower score distribution than the other two. However, this is the subject that shows the clearest differentiation, meeting the exact requirements of the entrance exam.
Citing this opinion, an examiner said that contrary to the prediction that math would have many low scores, the score range this year was similar to last year. In questions 7 and 8, many students were able to answer questions a and b.
The examination board also considered and calculated the odd score up to 0.25 for the candidates. This is beneficial for the candidates because some candidates who can solve small ideas in the question will also get points.
On the other hand, in math this year, the percentage of failing scores has decreased significantly compared to previous years. According to the HCM City Department of Education and Training, the 10th grade benchmark score is automatically calculated based on the total score of the three exam subjects of the candidates and the number of candidates registering for a school and the enrollment quota of that school.
