University of Economics and Law does not convert each candidate's score to a common scale.

(Dan Tri) - On the evening of July 23, the University of Economics and Law announced the threshold to ensure input quality and the conversion rules equivalent to admission scores of admission methods in 2025.

Accordingly, the admission score for all majors/majors/regular university programs of the University of Economics and Law (UEL) in 2025 for candidates in region 3 (KV3), excluding bonus points and priority points for detailed subjects, is as follows:

Particularly for majors/specializations in the field of law, students must meet the following requirements: High school graduation or equivalent; for candidates applying for admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam, the score for math and literature or math or literature in the admission combination must be 6.0 points or higher.

For candidates applying for admission based on the results of the competency assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University in 2025, the total score must be 720 points or higher, and the average score of the 3-year high school transcript in math must be 6.0 points or higher.

Regarding the conversion rules for equivalent admission scores of admission methods, UEL will not convert each candidate's score to a common scale.

The school applies the percentile method, ensuring that the admission scores between methods (high school graduation exam, capacity assessment, high school study score...) are equivalent according to percentile and the level of meeting the input requirements of each industry/major/training program.

How to do it in 3 steps.

Step 1, before admission, based on the excellent and excellent academic results of students in the previous year's major/specialization, the school determines the adjustment coefficient for the percentile value range of the methods.

Step 2, during the virtual selection and filtering process, determine the admission score based on the equivalence principle (with adjustment coefficient applied) of the selection methods.

Step 3, announce the benchmark scores, the benchmark scores will be announced according to the individual scores of each method, along with the conversion table of admission scores of the methods and combinations according to the percentile method.

In 2025, the University of Economics and Law will enroll students through 3 admission methods. Tuition for the 2025 enrollment course of the Vietnamese training program is 31.5 million VND, and for the English training program is 65 million VND (2025-2026 school year).
