According to information from the People's Committee of Ba Dinh District, since the morning of September 10, the district has been evacuating all 200 high-risk households in the Red River bank area, in Phuc Xa Ward.

According to the records at group 3, Phuc Xa ward at 4 pm today, most of the households that were mobilized to relocate have completed the relocation. However, there are still some families who need a little more time to move their belongings to a safe place.

While cleaning the house and crying, Mrs. Lai Thi Thin said: "I'm trying to move things up high, I'm really scared. I've lived here for so many years and I've never seen the water here rise so high, from morning until now it's already more than a meter high."

At noon on September 10, the Hanoi City Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue issued a level 1 alert on the Red River in the districts of Bac Tu Liem, Tay Ho, Ba Dinh, Hoan Kiem, Hai Ba Trung, Hoang Mai, Long Bien and Thanh Tri, Dong Anh, and Gia Lam.

To make the evacuation process faster, the Phuc Xa ward residential group has made efforts to support the people.

Some households moved their belongings to higher ground to avoid flooding when the water rose. "My family received support from the militia to move their belongings to higher ground to ensure safety if the water rose too much," said Ngo Thi Dieu Hang.

The woman carefully moved each item to a safer place before proceeding with the move.

Hearing the news of having to evacuate, Nguyen Trung Sy and his wife tried to arrange their home. "I was very worried about the flood, the water level was getting higher and higher, I had to go to a relative's house to stay for a few days until the water receded."

The lives of households were turned upside down during the rainy and flooded days.

The scene at group 3, Phuc Xa ward this afternoon is vast in water.

Outside, authorities have set up barriers to prevent people from entering the flooded area.
