Reversing to the upside, RON95-III gasoline price approaches 20,100 VND per liter

From 3:00 p.m. on July 10, the price of E5 RON92 gasoline increased by VND214/liter; RON95-III gasoline increased by VND184/liter. In addition, diesel increased by VND429/liter; kerosene increased by VND239/liter, and fuel oil decreased by VND244/kg.

Only fuel oil decreased, the remaining 4 petroleum products officially increased in today's operating period (July 10).

Specifically, from 3:00 p.m., the ceiling price of E5RON92 gasoline is 19,659 VND/liter, an increase of 214 VND/liter compared to the current price; the new price of RON95-III gasoline is 20,090 VND/liter, an increase of 184 VND/liter compared to the current price.

During this period, diesel increased by 429 VND/liter, to 18,837 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 239 VND/liter, the new price is 18,371 VND/liter. Fuel oil alone decreased by 244 VND, to 15,563 VND/kg.

The operator requested not to set aside or use the Price Stabilization Fund for petroleum products. As for the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex), as of the time before the price adjustment, the balance of the Price Stabilization Fund (BOG) at the enterprise was 3,084 billion VND, an increase of 1 billion VND compared to the most recent announcement.

Previously (July 3), the selling prices of petroleum products decreased sharply, in which E5RON92 gasoline decreased by VND1,085/liter; RON95-III gasoline decreased by VND1,210/liter; 0.05S diesel oil decreased by VND941/liter; kerosene decreased by VND932/liter and mazut oil decreased by VND1,148/kg.

According to Decree No. 80/2023/ND-CP amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 95/2021/ND-CP dated November 1, 2021 and Decree No. 83/2014/ND-CP dated September 3, 2014 of the Government on petroleum trading, the time for managing petroleum prices will be shortened from 10 days to 7 days, implemented every Thursday.

In case the price management period coincides with a holiday according to regulations, it is implemented as follows: If Thursday coincides with the first day of the holiday, the time for managing the petrol price will be implemented on the previous Wednesday. If Thursday coincides with the remaining holidays, the time for managing the petrol price will be implemented on the first working day after the holiday.
