At the conference, representatives of relevant sectors and localities reported on the progress of the implementation of the 500 kV line 3 project, including: site clearance, handover of column foundation positions, line corridors, etc.
Speaking at the Thai Binh bridge, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee reported to the Minister of Industry and Trade that Thai Binh province has handed over 107 column foundation positions in 4 districts: Vu Thu, Dong Hung, Hung Ha, Quynh Phu to the investor and construction contractor. At present, the contractor has completed the foundation of 17 positions, is constructing 88 positions, 3 positions are erecting columns and the route corridor has handed over 36 anchorages. In the coming time, Thai Binh province will continue to direct departments, branches, localities, and units to closely coordinate with the construction contractor to proactively source construction materials to speed up the project's construction progress. Proactively resolve the project-related tasks as quickly as possible according to assigned functions and tasks to complete the project and put it into operation according to the goals.
Concluding the conference, the Minister of Industry and Trade acknowledged and highly appreciated the drastic participation of the localities in their efforts to hand over 100% of the foundation pits to the construction contractors. With the goal of striving to complete the project before June 30 this year and ensuring quality, the Minister requested that the sectors and localities review a number of tasks related to the project to promptly resolve any problems during implementation. The provinces where the project passes through should strongly urge and direct the departments, sectors and localities to coordinate with the investor to continue to do a good job of propaganda and mobilization of affected households to create consensus to complete the site clearance for anchorage and route corridors, creating favorable conditions for construction units to speed up progress. Require contractors to closely coordinate with local authorities and related units to mobilize maximum human and material resources, promote sense of responsibility, proactiveness, creativity, and apply modern scientific and technological solutions to implement the project. For Vietnam Electricity Group and National Power Transmission Corporation, it is necessary to determine the role of project investors to properly perform their responsibilities to urge contractors to speed up construction progress to ensure quality. Do a good job of inspection, supervision, and urging contractors to concentrate all resources at construction sites according to the project commitment time.
