The Bac Giang Waste Treatment and Power Generation Plant Project in Da Mai Ward is invested by Bac Giang Environmental Energy Limited Company. The project has a capacity to burn 750 tons of waste per day and night (using modern technology, burning unsorted waste to generate electricity).

According to the investor's report, the Factory has signed contracts and ordered all main equipment including: Incinerator, turbine, generator, air filter, water treatment equipment. Currently, the main factory is being piled up to 90%. The investor commits to mobilizing resources to construct and complete the Factory to put into operation from the first quarter of 2027.
To ensure progress, the investor requests the Provincial People's Committee and departments and branches to pay attention to supporting a number of contents: Adjusting the project's power capacity according to their authority; guiding investment procedures to supplement items outside the Factory such as pumping stations, raw water supply pipelines, and 110kV power transmission lines. Requesting the People's Committee of Da Mai Ward to supplement the land use planning of the pumping station location and the 110kV power transmission line to complete the power station; arranging fly ash landfill at a suitable location; paying attention to implementing resettlement policies for people in affected areas.

At the meeting, representatives of the investor and departments and branches discussed and clarified a number of difficulties and problems related to planning adjustment, environmental impact assessment, site clearance for construction of the Factory; resettlement arrangements for people, ensuring security and order, accommodation for construction staff and workers; surveying the construction site of the fly ash treatment site, construction progress of the pumping station and other construction items.
A representative of Da Mai ward said that the construction of the factory will affect the lives of 52 households in Lo residential group with more than 200 people. Therefore, the ward recommends that the province have a resettlement policy for households to ensure long-term stability in life.

In his concluding remarks, Comrade Dao Quang Khai acknowledged and assessed that this is a feasible project with modern technology, a closed and circular chain, and basically ensures environmental hygiene. He welcomed the investor's sense of responsibility and initiative in early implementation of tasks and speeding up construction progress with the goal of putting the factory into operation soon, solving the problem of waste treatment for the province. He requested the Department of Construction to coordinate with Da Mai ward to ensure planning work; resettlement, water supply, updating green tree planning, 110KV power transmission line, adjusting the power capacity of the factory. Researching the location of the planning site for ash and slag dumps, industrial waste, ensuring environmental hygiene.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment proactively coordinates and advises the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment to guide the removal of obstacles related to environmental impact assessment dossiers, ensuring full legal procedures. In the spirit of focusing on removing difficulties for businesses, he requested departments, branches and localities to strengthen coordination and support investors in removing difficulties and performing related tasks, so that the project can be put into operation soon.
