TPO - On the evening of August 17, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics (UEH) officially announced the results of the admission methods for the 50th Course - Regular University in 2024. Accordingly, the standard score for all admission methods increased at both Ho Chi Minh City and Vinh Long campuses.
In 2024, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics will implement 6 admission methods (PT) including:
● Option 1: Direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training ;
● PT 2: Consider candidates who graduated from foreign high school programs and have international certificates;
● PT 3: Admission of Excellent Students;
● PT 4: Consideration of learning process according to subject combinations;
● PT 5: Admission based on the results of the competency assessment test;
● PT 6: Admission based on high school graduation exam results in 2024.
Accordingly, the benchmark scores of 56 training programs in Ho Chi Minh City (school code KSA) increased sharply compared to 2023. Specifically, the PT3 benchmark scores range from 48 - 83; PT4 from 49 - 85 points; PT5 from 800 - 995; and from 23.8 - 27.2 points for PT based on high school graduation exam results. This admission score range corresponds to candidates with excellent academic performance or higher, with an international English certificate equivalent to IELTS from 6.0 or TOEFL iBT from 73 points or higher, mostly students from specialized schools, excellent students at the provincial/municipal level.

At UEH - Vinh Long (school code KSV), the score distribution of PT3 and 4 is from 49, 40 respectively (increased from 1 - 8 points compared to 2023); PT5 is 550 - 650 (increased by 50 points); especially in PT6, which is based on high school graduation exam results, the admission score distribution increased from 1 to 5 points, ranging from 17 - 22 points.
