The 2024 high school graduation exam scores will be announced at 8:00 a.m. on July 17.

On the afternoon of June 28, the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang announced that the invigilation of the 2024 high school graduation exam at the Examination Council of the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang City took place seriously, safely and successfully. The exam was organized in accordance with the regulations, ensuring security, order, traffic safety and exam room safety at the exam sites. The total number of candidates registered for the exam is 13,560.

According to the plan of the Ministry of Education and Training , the 2024 high school graduation exam scores at the Examination Council of the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang city will be announced at 8:00 a.m. on July 17.

On June 27 and 28, candidates will take the exam:

Literature (120-minute essay) had 13,173 candidates taking the exam/13,297 candidates registered for the exam (124 candidates were absent, of which 38 candidates were exempted from the exam).

Math (90-minute multiple-choice test) had 13,233 candidates taking the exam/13,363 candidates registered for the exam (130 candidates were absent, of which 38 candidates were exempted from the exam).

Natural Science exam (multiple choice, each exam has 3 subjects, 50 minutes/subject).

Physics subject has 5,885 candidates taking the exam/5,919 candidates registered for the exam (34 candidates absent)

Chemistry subject has 5,896 candidates taking the exam/5,932 registered candidates (36 candidates absent).

Biology had 5,821 candidates taking the exam/5,843 candidates registered for the exam (22 candidates were absent).

Social Science Exam (multiple choice, each exam has 3 subjects, 50 minutes/subject).

History subject has 7,358 candidates taking the exam/7,456 candidates registered for the exam (98 candidates absent).

Geography had 7,332 candidates taking the exam/7,431 candidates registered for the exam (99 candidates were absent).

Civic Education subject has 5,979 candidates taking the exam/6,030 candidates registered for the exam (51 candidates absent)

Foreign Language (60-minute multiple-choice test) had 11,378 candidates taking the exam/11,638 candidates registered for the exam (absent: 260 candidates, not including the number of candidates exempted from the exam).

The exam was conducted safely and seriously; no exam invigilators violated the exam regulations; no problems with the exam papers occurred. There were two cases of candidates bringing cell phones into the exam room (one candidate taking the Literature exam at Ngo Quyen High School and one candidate taking the Math exam at Phan Thanh Tai High School). The head of the exam site decided to suspend these two candidates from the exam.

Before the exam day, 2 candidates had an accident (1 candidate at Ngo Quyen High School and 1 candidate at Le Quy Don High School). 1 candidate at Pham Phu Thu High School was sick and could not write the exam by himself. The examination council and the exam site arranged a separate exam room for these candidates and assigned invigilators to write the exam for them (in a different subject). The exam room was equipped with a video camera (to ensure good video and audio recording) to record the exam process in addition to arranging invigilators and supervisors according to regulations.

On the morning of June 28, two candidates from Nguyen Thien Thuat Secondary School were involved in a traffic accident. After receiving medical assistance, one candidate arrived at the exam site and continued taking the exam; the other candidate broke his arm and could not continue taking the exam.
