Congratulatory message on the 65th anniversary of the founding of the Committee for the Defense of the Cuban Revolution

On the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the founding of the Committee for the Defense of the Cuban Revolution (September 28, 1960 - September 28, 2025), on September 25, Mr. Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF), sent a congratulatory message to Mr. Gerardo Hernández Nordelo, member of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Chairman of the Committee for the Defense of the Cuban Revolution.

The telegram wrote: On the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the founding of the Committee for the Defense of the Cuban Revolution (September 28, 1960 - September 28, 2025), on behalf of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and in my own name, I respectfully send to Comrade Gerardo Hernández Nordelo, Member of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Chairman of the Committee for the Defense of the Cuban Revolution, and through the Chairman, to the leaders and officials of the Committee for the Defense of the Cuban Revolution, my best wishes!

In recent years, despite many difficulties and challenges due to the embargo, the Party, State and people of Cuba have made efforts to implement many solutions to develop the country. In this common effort, the Committee for the Defense of the Cuban Revolution has promoted its core role, gathering all classes of people to make important contributions to the cause of protecting the Revolution and national security of Cuba, promoting social and community activities, building and developing the beautiful country of Cuba.

The Vietnamese people and the Vietnam Fatherland Front always appreciate the solidarity, wholehearted support and assistance that Cuba has always given to Vietnam; and are proud of the special, loyal relationship between the two Parties, two States and peoples of Vietnam and Cuba, which has been cultivated by President Ho Chi Minh and President Fidel Castro and generations of leaders and people of the two countries.

In the current volatile world context, the Party, State, Vietnam Fatherland Front and people of Vietnam will always stand side by side with the Party, State and people of Cuba to take advantage of opportunities, overcome difficulties and challenges to develop the country.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front always appreciates and wishes to strengthen cooperation with the Cuban Committee for the Protection of the Revolution in the coming time, especially to effectively implement the Cooperation Agreement for the period 2023 - 2028 signed between the two sides, bringing the cooperative relationship into depth, practicality and effectiveness for the benefit of the people of the two countries.

Once again, I would like to wish Comrade Gerardo Hernández Nordelo, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, President of the Committee for the Defense of the Cuban Revolution, and the leaders and officials of the Committee for the Defense of the Cuban Revolution good health, happy families, and excellent fulfillment of all tasks assigned by the Party and the Cuban people. I wish the Committee for the Defense of the Cuban Revolution to grow stronger and stronger. I wish the solidarity and special friendship between Vietnam and Cuba to grow stronger and stronger.
