(GLO)- During 2 days (July 1 and 2), the working delegation of the Military Region 5 Command led by Major General Hua Van Tuong - Deputy Commander of Military Region 5 inspected and grasped the situation at units under the Gia Lai Provincial Military Command after the merger and reorganization.

Accordingly, the working delegation inspected the following units: Regional Defense Command (DAD) 2-Dak Po; Regional Defense Command (DAD) 3-Thong Nhat; Infantry Company 3 (DAD) 4-Chu Prong; Regional Defense Command (DAD) 6-An Nhon Dong and a number of military commands of communes and wards in the province.

After listening to the report and inspecting the situation, Major General Hua Van Tuong acknowledged and commended the agencies and units in thoroughly grasping and implementing the instructions of superiors on merging and reorganizing local military agencies.

Regarding the upcoming tasks, the Deputy Commander of Military Region 5 requested the Provincial Military Command and its affiliated units to review the work related to organization and staffing; thoroughly grasp the issued operating regulations for implementation, avoiding overlap in leadership, direction and task implementation.

At the same time, review all military command positions at the commune level; regularly inspect and strengthen the work of grasping the local situation, complete the combat plan to protect the agency, prevent and fight fires and explosions, and station troops on guard according to regulations.

Emphasizing that in the coming time, there will be many important political tasks that need to be focused on implementing with increasingly high requirements for quality and efficiency, Major General Hua Van Tuong requested leaders, commanders, officers and soldiers of units to continue promoting the tradition of solidarity and unity in organizing and implementing tasks, contributing to maintaining national defense and security, creating a solid foundation for the development of Gia Lai province in the new period.
