On the morning of January 26, the People's Committee of Bac Hong Ward (Hong Linh Town) solemnly held a ceremony to receive the provincial-level historical-cultural relic ranking certificate for Binh Lang Temple.

Binh Lang Temple is an ancient historical and cultural relic, dating back a long time as well as having cultural value and revolutionary tradition. The temple worships Uy Minh Vuong Ly Nhat Quang (995 - 1057) - the 8th son of King Ly Thai To, a historical figure who made many contributions to the land of Hoan Chau in particular ( Nghe An , Ha Tinh today ) and the whole country in general. He had a sharp mind, was both literary and martial, intelligent and virtuous.

In 1039, he was sent by his brother, King Ly Thai Tong, to Nghe An to take care of tax collection. In 1041, he was appointed as the Governor of Nghe An - Title of Uy Minh Hau, then promoted to the title of King.

Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism awarded provincial-level historical and cultural relic certificates to localities.

In recognition of the great contributions of Uy Minh Vuong Ly Nhat Quang, since the 18th century, the people in the area built Binh Lang temple to worship him.

People of Bac Hong ward carry the provincial historical and cultural relic certificate to Binh Lang temple.

Every year, on December 16-17, local people hold a memorial service for Uy Minh Vuong Ly Nhat Quang at Binh Lang Temple.

In 2009, local people donated and contributed to the restoration and rebuilding of the temple with two main halls, the middle hall and the upper hall, following ancient architecture made of ironwood.

The elders held a ceremony to enthrone the provincial historical and cultural relic and a memorial service for Uy Minh Vuong Ly Nhat Quang at Binh Lang Temple.

In recognition of the merits of Uy Minh Vuong Ly Nhat Quang and the historical and cultural values ​​of the temple, on November 1, 2023, the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province issued Decision No. 2819/QD-UBND on ranking Binh Lang temple as a provincial-level historical and cultural relic.
