Dong Nai informs about the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030

The 1st Congress of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030 will take place on September 29 and 30.

On September 24, Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee held a press conference to inform about the 1st Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

Dong Nai province leaders said that the 1st Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, will take place on September 29 and 30 at Dong Nai Provincial Convention Center.

The congress has two contents. Firstly, summarizing the implementation of the Party Congress resolution for the 2020-2025 term and determining the directions, goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term.

Second, discuss and contribute opinions to the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress and documents of the congress of the directly superior Party Committee.

Notably, the congress did not elect a new term and a delegation to attend the higher-level congress, but announced the Central Committee's decisions on the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Inspection Committee, Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the 1st Provincial Party Committee.

Specifically, the representative of the Organizing Committee of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee said that the Central Committee has decided to appoint a list of the Executive Committee of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, and a list of delegates to attend the 14th National Party Congress...

The congress's political report has the theme "Building a clean, strong, united, disciplined, and responsible Party organization and political system; ensuring national defense, security, and border sovereignty; mobilizing and effectively using all resources to develop a green, prosperous, civilized, and modern Dong Nai province."

The congress with the motto "unity - pioneering - breakthrough - integration - development".

The Congress sets out goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 period.

The general goal by 2030 is to build Dong Nai into a green, rich, civilized, and modern city; striving to basically meet the criteria of a centrally-run city by 2030.

The political report also identified 29 major targets on Party building, economy, culture, society, natural resources and environment, national defense and security following the direction of the Ministry of Finance . In particular, the growth rate of total product in the province in the period of 2026 - 2030 is set to reach an average of 10%/year or more.

For breakthrough tasks, Dong Nai sets out 8 specific task groups and 3 strategic breakthroughs.

Regarding solutions, the political report proposed eight key groups of solutions to realize development aspirations in the new period. The key tasks are to continue building and rectifying a clean and strong Party and political system; renewing the growth model, promoting science, technology, innovation and digital transformation; strongly developing the private and collective economy; strengthening regional cooperation and linkages, and effectively mobilizing all resources.

At the same time, develop modern and sustainable agriculture and rural areas; ensure national defense and security, maintain border sovereignty; promote administrative reform associated with international integration; and especially promote the role of the people as the main subject, consolidate the great national unity bloc.

The outstanding new point of Dong Nai is that although the central government does not stipulate the development of an action program approved at the congress, Dong Nai has proactively developed an action program to implement the congress resolution and will present it at the congress for discussion with 2 appendices, ensuring the concretization of the congress resolution into specific goals, tasks, solutions, lists of programs, projects and proposals. This is the basis for leading and directing the implementation of the resolution throughout the term.

There are a total of 34 programs, projects, and resolutions; 46 key projects and works that need to be implemented in the 2025-2030 term.

This is a strategic, synchronous and comprehensive action framework, aiming to develop Dong Nai rapidly, sustainably, greenly and modernly, becoming the leading center of industry, logistics, services and high-tech agriculture in the country.

In particular, from the programs and actions, Dong Nai province also added the "6 clear" principle, including: clear people, clear work, clear time, clear responsibility, clear products, clear authority to ensure feasibility and effectiveness in organization and implementation.
