This afternoon, flight VN 319 from Narita (Japan) operated by Vietnam Airlines will continue to be welcomed here, with 154 Japanese passengers.

According to statistics from the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City, air tourism is still the main source of visitors to Da Nang City. In 2023, Da Nang City welcomed more than 40,000 flights, estimated at 6.3 million visitors, an increase of nearly 1.5 times compared to 2022 and a recovery of nearly 82% compared to 2019 (the year with the highest number of visitors before the Covid-19 pandemic).
After the Covid-19 pandemic, air tourism recovered quickly, with international flights resuming operations with 7 domestic routes with 51 flights/day and 16 international routes with 49 flights/day.
On the first day of 2024, Da Nang International Airport welcomed 112 domestic and international flights, estimated at more than 15,500 passengers, including 50 international flights with the number of passengers accounting for more than 50%.
In general, during the 3-day New Year holiday in 2024, the total number of domestic and international flights to Da Nang is about 434 (up 10% over the same period last year) with an estimated number of more than 65,000 passengers (up 14% over the same period in 2023).
