More than 20 tons of oranges purchased to support gardeners this time will be sent byFPT Shop to customers in the Mekong Delta provinces.

In recent days, farmers in the West have had to face the worry of "good harvest, low price" when the price of oranges has dropped sharply. With the selling price of only 1,000 - 2,000 VND/kg, many gardeners are even paid only 500 VND/kg but there are still no traders to buy.

All oranges purchased were transported by FPT Shop to the Western provinces to give to customers.

Although the retail industry is also facing many difficulties, FPT Shop still promptly joins hands to support farmers. Accordingly, on December 14, FPT Shop staff went to gardens in Tra Vinh and Vinh Long provinces to buy oranges, harvest them, classify them and pack them in boxes to bring home. It is known that 20 tons of oranges that FPT Shop supported farmers this time were transferred to stores in the Mekong Delta provinces to give as gifts and express gratitude to customers.

FPT Shop representative shared: "The bags of sweet oranges grown by local people on their own land are a small gift in lieu of FPT Shop's sincere thanks to customers who have chosen the system. Orange juice is rich in vitamin C and minerals necessary for the body, increases resistance, and is good for customers' health."

Customers were surprised and delighted to receive bags of oranges from FPT Shop.

According to some FPT Shop stores in Can Tho province, customers were surprised and delighted to receive these "bags of oranges". "Even though I only bought an order of a few tens of thousands, I was still given a large bag of oranges, so I was very happy. I think this action of FPT Shop is very practical, a gesture that should be replicated to accompany and share with farmers in this difficult time", - said Ms. Nguyen Thuy Chau.
