Samsung upgrades LE Audio technology, bringing vivid recording quality on smartphones, clearer sound on PCs and the ability to share TV audio with multiple people.

Samsung Electronics announced new software updates for Galaxy Buds2 Pro and Samsung Smart TV1 that redefine the audio experience across multiple connected devices. The new updates enhance LE Audio capabilities on Samsung TVs with Auracast audio broadcasting technology, allowing immersive audio to be streamed to nearby Bluetooth devices.

From now on, with Auracast broadcast audio technology integrated into Galaxy Buds2 Pro and Samsung Neo QLED 8K TVs 2023 as well as Micro LED 2023 through software updates starting from September, Samsung is once again enhancing and expanding the connection experience from mobile devices to home appliances.

With Auracast, users can turn their device into a radio station that can be shared across connected devices. Leveraging the new LE Audio technology, users can connect multiple Buds devices to the TV4, instead of previously being able to connect up to 2 devices at a time.

Auracast opens up a wide range of potential uses and applications for even more devices – from enhancing or assisting listening in theaters or lecture halls for those who want to hear better, or sharing playlists from their smartphone to friends, or even supporting multiple languages without the need for a translation device by sending different language interpretations via multiple channels.
