Nearly 1,000 artists recreate the historic autumn of 1945 through music

On the evening of August 15, at August Revolution Square (Hanoi), a special art program called “Hanoi - From the historic autumn of 1945” will take place to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. The event is directed by the Hanoi Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and organized by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports.

The program consists of 3 chapters and 6 episodes, recreating the typical milestones of the Capital from the historic autumn of 1945 to today. The audience will relive the heroic atmosphere of the Independence Declaration Day at Ba Dinh, the steadfast fighting in " Dien Bien Phu in the air" and the joy on the "Spring trains" building a rich and beautiful Capital.

The opening part is The Internationale , followed by songs associated with the General Uprising such as Guerrilla Song , Call of Youth , Destroy Fascism , Together We Go Red Soldiers, August 19 ... Closing is the Marching Song chorus.

Artistic director: People's Artist Tan Minh; Music director: Duong Cam; Conductor: Dong Quang Vinh; General director: Tuyet Minh. Nearly 1,000 artists from many theaters and art units participated, including People's Artist Hoang Anh Tu, Meritorious Artist Dang Duong, artist Xuan Hinh, singer Van Mai Huong, Lam Bao Ngoc, Oplus group, Khanh Linh, Hoang Hai...

The program applies modern technology, combining traditional, scholarly and contemporary art; the highlight is 3D mapping projection, artistic fireworks and lighting effects, taking the audience on a journey from historic Thang Long - Hanoi to modern Vietnam.

The event will be broadcast live on VTV1 and rebroadcast on H1, promising to be a grand artistic night, arousing national pride and gratitude to previous generations.
