In the recent subscriber information standardization, statistics from network operators show that there are currently more than 3.84 million subscribers that need to be re-standardized.
According to the provisions of Decree 49/2017/ND-CP, mobile subscribers with full information such as full name, date of birth, CCCD/CMND number matching the national population database (QGDB) are considered valid. Subscribers without full information matching theQGDB will be revoked. At the same time, from August 1, 2022, new subscribers must also authenticate their information with the national population database.
Nearly 1 million mobile subscribers will be revoked after May 15. |
Since March 15, 2023, Vietnamese mobile network operators have sent text messages and calls to notify mobile subscribers that they need to standardize their information to meet the requirements of synchronization with the national population database. At the same time, after March 13, the network operators have stopped providing one-way services to subscribers who have not met the standardization requirements. By April 15, two-way services will be blocked if subscribers have not yet converted their information.
For subscribers whose subscriptions are locked for unknown reasons, customers need to quickly text TTTB to 1414. |
According to statistics at the regular meeting of the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC), Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phuc - Director of the Department of Telecommunications, MIC , said that 1.15 million subscribers were locked in two directions from March 31 to April 15. By the end of April 24, 83,000 more mobile subscribers had standardized their information. Thus, there are still nearly 1 million subscribers locked in two directions and these subscribers will be revoked on May 15 according to the issued regulations.
Therefore, if the customer has a locked subscription without knowing the reason, they need to quickly text the syntax TTTB to 1414 to know if the mobile subscription is on the list of unstandardized information and to supplement it promptly. Or go to the network operator's transaction stores to get support for standardizing subscriber information.
When the customer fully updates the information, the previously blocked service will be automatically opened for normal communication.
